The all-new Hyundai Verna receives a Level 2 ADAS system, following the all-electric Ioniq 5 and the most recent Tucson, and is priced between Rs 16.20 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The new-generation Verna provides more sophisticated ADAS features than the 2023 City, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (Car, Cycle, Pedestrian, Junction Turning), Driver Attention Warning, Safe Exit Warning, Smart Cruise Control With Stop & Go, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Lane Departure Warning.
MG Astor
The Astor is yet another MG on the list of vehicles to have ADAS. Level 2 autonomy is included with the small SUV. A number of ADAS features are standard on the Astor’s Savvy trim, and consumers can also select a few options for the sharp trim as an add-on. Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Headlamp Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking (Pedestrian), Information Mode, Intelligent Mode, Manual Mode. Notably, the cost ranges from Rs. 17 lakh to Rs. 18.69 lakh.
MG ZS EV
While the MG ZS EV has been around for a while in India, it was the only car in the lineup—aside from the Comet EV—to lack ADAS. This active safety function was already featured on the Gloster, Hector, and Astor. However, the company has unveiled a new ZS EV Exclusive Pro model with ADAS for Rs. 27.90 lakh (ex-showroom). These variations include Level 2 ADAS capabilities like speed assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot recognition, traffic jam assist, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, and lane collision warning.
Best affordable cars with ADAS: Honda City
The V, VX, and ZX trims of the redesigned Honda City are equipped with ADAS. The most cheap ADAS-equipped vehicle available in the nation, these variants have costs that vary from Rs 12.48 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 16.08 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a Lane Keeping Assistant System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, and Lead Car Departure Notification System in addition to a Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, and Lane Keeping Assistant System. Meanwhile, ADAS technology is also included with the City e:HEV hybrid.
