Flipkart | iPhone13: Why is Flipkart cancelling iPhone 13 order? Flipkart explains

Flipkart | iPhone13: The e-commerce portal Flipkart, which is under criticism over some iPhone 13 orders that were cancelled, stated on Monday that a small number of orders for the device were cancelled by sellers “due to abnormalities.” Less than 3% of the orders, it claimed, had been cancelled by sellers as a result of “anomalies”. Following complaints made on Twitter by certain iPhone 13 consumers that their orders had been cancelled without warning even after successful payment and order confirmation on Flipkart, the online retailer made a statement.

The Apple iPhone 13 has been in high demand from customers on Amazon and rival Flipkart. The premium iPhone 13 is being sold throughout the festival season for about Rs 50,000.

Customer’s feedback on their order’s cancellation

Angry customer’s twitter complaint: “I reserved an iPhone 13 during the A Big Billion Day Sale and was looking forward to its arrival. Without giving a reason, the seller/Flipkart cancelled the order for the product “.

One more iPhone 13 purchaser stated, “This order was sent out yesterday, and delivery was scheduled for today. cancelled without my permission at the last minute “.

Flipkart-clarification on iPhone13 orders in response to these accusations, they said that “a minuscule percentage of orders (less than 3% of total purchases) had been cancelled by sellers due to irregularities.” According to a company representative, “as a customer-focused e-commerce marketplace, we urge sellers to prioritise the customers’ orders and aim to keep them happy with their service.”

It stated that “the merchants have successfully delivered 70% of all iPhone orders placed across cities.”

Company shipped a record of Rs 7.7 billion devices

This holiday season, smartphone brands are anticipated to ship about Rs. 7.7 billion worth of devices, a slight rise over last year’s shipping, although overall volumes are anticipated to decline by 7% from the previous year.

The new iPhone 14 and 14 Pro series has been unveiled by electronics giant Apple. The business has discontinued the earlier iPhone models, including the iPhone 11, 12, Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max, following the introduction of the new series.
