Huawei Mate 60: Huawei is scheduled to debut the Mate 60 series this autumn, and now the first look is coming from the Mate 60 due to a set of hands-on photographs making the rounds on Chinese social media platform Weibo. The fresh images show the Mate 60 with a dual-tone back that appears to have frosted glass on the top half and a metal bottom half. The previously reported circular camera island is still visible, with three camera cutouts.
Leaks about the display and resolutions
According to previous rumours, the Mate 60 may feature an OLED display with a 1220p resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The more intriguing aspect is that Huawei is said to be unveiling the Mate 60 with a pill-shaped cutout holding the dual front-facing cameras and 3D ToF sensors.

Users may also see new software implementations akin to Apple’s Dynamic Island, which would be an excellent opportunity to advertise Harmony OS 4’s new Live Window feature. Company is also said to be developing its own 5G chipset alongside SMIC, and the Mate 60 series may be the first to employ the newly designed 5G SoCs.
