Instagram likely to extend Reel duration from 3 to 10 minutes, what you must know

Instagram can increase the time limit to compete with other platforms like Tiktok and others, so it is expected to increase the length of its reel videos from 3 minutes to 10 minutes. The rumours suggest that the social media giant will soon allow its users to upload 10-minute videos. This feature will grab the users from other platforms that provides long videos like Tiktok and YouTube.

If Instagram agrees to implement the function, the 10 minute longer time limit will make it simpler for users and content creators to view video, which might lead to a rise in engagement. Last year, TikTok utilised Reels in a similar manner in february. Instagram recently added a number of new tools to let users create and share content on the site, including the collaboration with up to three friends on posts, can add music to carousels , and join other producers with the “Add Yours” sticker.
