Hardware and Battery

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, along with the Adreno 650 GPU, powers the OnePlus 9R. It has 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Additionally, you have a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, which is quicker than the Galaxy S20 FE. However, it doesn’t support wireless charging.

The Exynos 990 SoC and Mali-G77 MP11 GPU are built-in to the Galaxy S20 FE model sold in India. You receive 128GB or 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage and 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The Samsung offering includes support for microSDXC, unlike the OnePlus 9R. The device has a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged quickly at 25W and wirelessly at 15W.

The OnePlus 9R has a quadruple camera system on the back. It is powered by a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with a 6P lens with OIS and EIS capabilities. A 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view is attached to it. You also get a 2MP monochrome lens and a 5MP macro camera. On the other two OnePlus 9 smartphones, the latter is also present. It can shoot in 4K at 30/60 FPS and 1080p slo-mo at 240 FPS. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The Galaxy S20 FE optics, on the other hand, rely on a triple rear camera arrangement. It has three cameras: an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view, and a 12MP primary camera with OIS. Additionally, it supports 4K at 30/60 FPS. You get a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

Price and variants

The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the OnePlus 9R costs INR 39,999. For the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the price rises to INR 43,999. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, on the other hand, will cost you at least INR 44,999.
