With the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung is set to push the limits of smartphone innovation once more. It is set to make its appearance at the Unpacked event in New York , 2025. It is only 4.5 mm thick when it is opened up and about 9.5 mm thick when it is folded. This makes it the thinnest folding phone that Samsung has ever made. The Fold 6, which came before it, was much bigger when folded (12 mm), so this one stands out. The Fold 7 is also lighter, at about 215 grams, thanks to better hinge design and higher-quality materials. This is a big plus for carrying it around every day.
More screens and thinner edges
Samsung has taken it a step further by making both screens better. The cover screen is now 6.5 inches, which makes it more like a regular phone when it's folded up. The main screen on the inside is 8.2 inches and has a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. The edges are thinner, and there are almost no noticeable folds. These improvements not only make things look better, but they also make watching more engaging and smooth.
Performance with Power
In most places, the Fold 7 will likely run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Elite version). In some places, it will get the Exynos 2500. With ultra-fast UFS 4.0 technology, it has 12GB of RAM and storage choices from 256GB to 1TB. It also has a new cooling system with a bigger air chamber that makes it work better while gaming and doing other things at the same time.
Camera System for a Flagship
Samsung isn't skimping on photos. A 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x or 5x optical zoom are said to be on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It has a punch-hole camera instead of an under-display camera for selfies, which makes the pictures clearer and the screen better overall.
Adding AI to Galaxy
The Fold 7 has Galaxy AI features like smart call summaries, real-time translations, AI-enhanced writing, and visual search. It runs on One UI 8 and is built on Android 16. These apps work best with the folding screen, which makes the device a great tool for getting work done.
Coming Soon
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to come out in India and around the world in the middle of July. Its price could be anywhere from ₹1.65 lakh to ₹1.80 lakh. The Fold 7 is set to change the way foldable smartphones are made with its thin design, bigger screens, top-of-the-line speed, and smart AI features.
