Honda Shine 100cc: Retro bike launched with powerful engine and great looks, to give tough competition to Hero Splendor

Honda Shine 100cc: Honda has introduced its Shine in the Indian market in a novel method to compete with Hero’s bestselling motorcycle Splendor. The business introduced this bike in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 64,900 under the popular brand Honda Shine 100cc.

Engine and dimensions

Speaking of the engine, this new Honda bike boasts a 100CC air-cooled single cylinder fuel-injected engine. With a lengthy wheelbase of 1340mm and 168mm of ground clearance, the new Honda Sign has recently been introduced. Experts predict that this newest motorcycle from Honda, which was just introduced in the 100 cc sector, will be a fierce competitor in the market for vehicles like the Bajaj Platina and the Hero Splendor.

What will be the new upgrades?

To enhance the Shine’s ergonomics, the firm widened the seat. As a result, the seat appears to be longer. This bike was created by the company taking into account the daily users. The bike will have a 168mm ground clearance and a 768mm seat height. In India, the brand-new Honda Shine 100 is now available in five different colours. There are several different paint schemes available on this bike, including red stripes, black with blue stripes, black with green stripes, black with gold stripes, and black with grey stripes.

Honda Shine 100cc: Here are the new features

This is Honda’s second significant launch of the year. The business had previously introduced Activa H-Smart to the market. If we discuss the bike’s other features, we will mention that it has an analogue twin-pod dash. It will have features including a speedometer, warning lights, and a fuel gauge. This bike will come with alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, and a combi-brake system.

Honda Shine 100cc: What makes it unique?

The new 100cc engine will power the motorcycle. It is believed that because of this, its mileage will be fantastic. The Shine bike now incorporates PGM-FI characteristics thanks to the manufacturer. In addition, the bike’s gasoline pump is located outside the petrol tank. The company has opened bookings for the Shine 100 and its production will start from next month. Deliveries of the Shine 100 will begin from May 2023.
