Apple iPhone 14 Series: This week, Apple introduced the new iPhone 14 series. Like the majority of other iPhones, the price of the various models of the iPhone 14 Series is significantly higher in India than it is in the US. This year, the price of the iPhone 14 series in India is also more expensive than it is in many other places, including the UK, China, and the UAE.
In multiple important markets, including the UK, Japan, Germany, and even India, where the price of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max starts at Rs 10,000 more than the price of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max, respectively, Apple has increased the price of the iPhone 14 Series compared to the iPhone 13 Series. Remember that the ultimate sales price in the US will be more because it will also contain sales tax, which varies by state.

As you can see in the table above, buying the iPhone 14 Series phones is much more expensive in India compared to other popular markets.
Reasons not to buy it from US
Similar to prior years, bringing the iPhone 14 into India from the US or other countries is a little more difficult this time. This is due to the fact that, despite the cheaper price, the iPhone 14’s feature set will vary depending on which area you purchase it from when converted using the most recent currency exchange rates.
For instance, if you purchase an iPhone 14 Series model from the US, there won’t be a SIM Card slot inside the phone because Apple has totally shifted to eSIM there. On the other hand, the emergency satellite connectivity capability of the iPhone 14 series is not available if you purchase an iPhone from China Mainland, Macao, or Hong Kong (which is initially only expected to be supported in the US and Canada).
You may use a US-purchased iPhone 14 in India thanks to the eSIM support provided by Jio, Vodafone Idea, and Airtel, but since eSIMs aren’t as widely used as regular SIM cards, some consumers could decide against it.
However, depending on which model you choose, you may still import an iPhone from places like Dubai (UAE), where the price of the iPhone 14 series is between Rs 5,000 and Rs 35,000 less than in India.
