Micro Pod EV delivery Bike: In India, the Manesar-based electric vehicle startup Zen Mobility has debuted its first three-wheeled electric cargo vehicle. This electric vehicle, known as the Micro Pod, is offered in two variations: the R5x and the R10x, and it has a maximum cargo capacity of 150 KG. Zen Mobility, a Gurugram-based electric vehicle manufacturer, has introduced its purpose-built cargo three-wheeler LEV (Light Electric Vehicle). The new Zen Micro Pod EV has been launched in India for last-mile mobility solutions. It will be offered in two variants and is claimed to offer a range of over 120 km per charge. This electric vehicle, which primarily targets the last-mile delivery sector, is a mix between a two-wheeler and a three-wheeler. According to the manufacturer, it can carry more weight than a typical two-wheeler by more than 2.5 times.

The car is also said to use only 4 units of power and can be fully charged in 1.5 to 2 hours. Thanks to lightweight technology, the brand-new Micro Pod requires less motor power to provide the same output, saving on battery expenses and lowering cost-per-delivery.

Speaking of storage, this electric vehicle comes with a special cargo compartment that includes shelves, chilled boxes, open tubs, and more. Additionally, effective fleet management capabilities, such as vehicle tracking, charge monitoring, geofencing, and remote locking, are provided via Zen Mobility’s unique drivetrain and vehicle telematics.

Depending on a number of variables, including the type of lease, the length of the lease, and other circumstances, the Micro Pod may be leased or rented on a monthly basis for payments of up to Rs 9,999. According to the business, it has established a manufacturing facility with a 1 lakh unit yearly production capacity and already has an order book for 10,000 units. In June 2023, mass manufacturing is anticipated to start.
