The Nexon facelift is available with two engines: a 1.5-liter diesel engine coupled to a six-speed manual unit and an AMT unit, and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine mated to five-speed manual, six-speed manual, AMT, and seven-speed DCT units. The 2023 Kia Sonet, on the other hand, is propelled by a 1.5-liter diesel engine mated to a six-speed automatic or the recently introduced six-speed iMT gearbox, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT, and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated, BS6 2-compliant, petrol engine.
