Vivo Y22: A poster implies that the India launch of the Vivo Y22 may occur shortly. Earlier this week, the smartphone made its debut in Indonesia. The Y22, the newest smartphone in the company’s Y-series, has a waterdrop-style notch display and a MediaTek Helio G85 gaming SoC inside. Additionally, Vivo has included the Extended RAM 2.0 feature, which uses up to 2GB of storage space as RAM for improved performance. A 50-megapixel camera and a 5,000mAh battery are included in the Vivo Y22.
A banner from Mumbai-based store Mahesh Telecom indicates that the Vivo Y22 smartphone would soon be available in India. According to the poster, SBI Bank, Kotak Bank, and OneCard will provide clients a Rs. 1,000 reward on credit card and credit card EMI transactions. The poster’s fine print indicates that the rebate offer is valid through September 30; this hints that the phone may soon make its debut in India.

Early this week, the Vivo Y22 was introduced in Indonesia. The Funtouch OS 12-based Android 12-based device has a 6.55-inch full-HD (720 x 1,612) LCD display. The MediaTek Helio G85 gaming SoC powers the latest Vivo smartphone. It has the Extended RAM 2.0 technology, and with additional onboard storage, the RAM can be increased to 8GB.
The Vivo Y22 has a dual back camera for photography, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 aperture lens as its focal point. A 2-megapixel bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens is also part of the camera arrangement. The front has an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.
Up to 128GB of inbuilt storage on the Vivo Y22 are expandable using a microSD card (up to 1TB). The phone’s 5,000mAh battery supports 18W rapid charging, and it is IP54-rated for durability to dust and water.
