Company is coming with these new features
The Performance Line Virtus variants (1.5 TSI engine-equipped variants) now have a new base trim called GT. The recently released variation is Rs 2.38 lakh more cheaper than the GT Plus DSG variant. Although there is a considerable price difference, many amenities and decorative components are also removed.
This can be seen externally in the chrome window and grille trim, LED turn indicators, and blacked-out alloy wheels that are actually coated in silver. The interior now lacks features that are exclusive to the top-spec GT Plus trim, including full leatherette upholstery, front side airbags, curtain airbags, a height-adjustable co-driver’s seat, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
Here is the new powertrain and a limited edition
The new GT DSG option lowers the price of the 1.5 TSI variants by a substantial margin, which could aid in increasing sales. With the more affordable GT models, Volkswagen hopes to draw more buyers for the higher-spec engine, which has so far only made up a measly 10% of sales.
Additionally, Volkswagen recently debuted the Virtus GT Edge Limited Collection, a limited-edition model. This can only be ordered online and will be made to order. It is offered in the exclusive “Deep Black Pearl” paint tone.
