A major announcement at the summit came from Yamanashi Governor Kotaro Nagasaki, who announced a ₹600 crore fund to support investment in Uttar Pradesh by MSME companies from Yamanashi. CM Yogi Adityanath described the announcement as a strong indication of Japanese industry’s confidence in Uttar Pradesh.
The proposed investment is expected to strengthen economic cooperation and create new opportunities for businesses in the state.
MoUs Signed Across Multiple Sectors
During the summit, MoUs were signed across various sectors with the objective of accelerating development and investment in Uttar Pradesh. The event brought together government representatives, entrepreneurs and other dignitaries to deepen economic ties between Uttar Pradesh and Japan.

The Chief Minister also presented certificates to young people who secured employment opportunities in Japan. The initiative highlights the growing focus on connecting skilled youth from Uttar Pradesh with international employment opportunities.
