Punjab Investor Circle 2026 has highlighted the Bhagwant Mann-led government’s efforts to encourage entrepreneurship and support emerging businesses in the state. The event recognised 28 start-ups selected for seed money, providing an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas and expand their ventures.

According to a social media post by Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh, Cabinet Minister and AAP Punjab president Aman Arora congratulated the representatives of the 28 selected start-ups during the event. The initiative was presented as part of the government’s commitment to nurturing innovative ideas and strengthening the state’s start-up ecosystem.

Government Highlights Support for Over 400 Start-Ups: Bhagwant Mann

During the programme, Aman Arora shared that the Mann government had supported more than 400 start-ups over the past four-and-a-half years. He said the objective was to encourage young people to become job creators rather than remain limited to seeking employment.

The focus on seed funding is intended to help selected entrepreneurs take their ideas towards practical business ventures. Early-stage financial support can assist start-ups with product development, testing, business operations and expansion, depending on their individual requirements.

Focus on Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Punjab

The event also brought attention to the role of government support in encouraging innovation, self-employment and private enterprise. By recognising start-ups at an early stage, the initiative aims to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities within Punjab.
