2024 Mahindra Thar 5 Door: Mahindra has been seen testing the 5 door variant of Thar several times in India. Recently, the SUV was again spotted testing on Indian roads, this time the interior of the upcoming SUV has been leaked which reveals all new details about the vehicle. The vehicle is already available to buy in three door variant with the starting price tag of Rs. 10.54 lakh.
Mahindra Thar: Leaked Details
Taking a clue from the leaks, the upcoming Thar 5 Door comes with a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, likely to be a 12.3 inches screen. Another noteworthy thing is that the vehicle comes with a new steering wheel which looks to be borrowed fro XUV 700. It has circular AC Vents with the controls placed like its 3 door variant.
Additionally, the upcoming SUV also features a two-piece adjustable armrest in the centre and the brand has now placed window switches on the door pads.
Talking about the features, the vehicle is expected to come with automatic climate control, Wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play, digital instrument cluster, Wireless charger, rear AC vents, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain sensing vipers and auto-dimming IRVM.
Mahindra Thar 5 Door: Powertrain
The upcoming SUV is expected to come with the same 2.0 litre Turbo petrol and 2.2 litre diesel engine. The petrol engine generates the maximum power output of 150 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm. On the other side, the diesel powertrain outputs the maximum power of 130 bhp and a peak torque of 300 Nm.
