Akasa Air gets an airline license from DGCA

Akasa Air Update: The Akasa Air of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, who is called the Big Bull of the stock market, is now fully ready to fly. Aviation sector regulator DGCA has given Akasa Air the approval to fly.

After this, the airline Akasa Air will again be able to start its commercial flight operations by the end of July.

Akasa Air has given information about this by tweeting. It is noteworthy that before commencing commercial operation, Akasa Air had applied for Air Operator Permit from the regulator DGCA of the airlines sector.

Not only this, to satisfy Aviation Regulator DGCA to obtain Air Operator Certificate, Akasa Air’s Proving Flight flew several times in the Proving Flight under test with DGCA officials as Passengers and Crabin Crew.

Giving this information on its official Twitter account, Akasa Air wrote – We are pleased to announce the receipt of our Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This is an important milestone. This enables us to start commercial flight.

It is worth noting that on June 21, 2022, Akasa Air’s first aircraft Boeing 737 MAX landed at Delhi Airport. The aircraft was handed over to Akasa Air on June 16 in Seattle, USA. This is the first delivery of 72 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft that Akasa Air ordered to Boeing last November.
