Anand Sharma meets Ghulam Nabi Azad

The meeting of senior leader Anand Sharma on Saturday with Ghulam Nabi Azad, who has resigned from the Congress party, has raised the political temperature in Himachal. Anand, who reached Ghulam Nabi Azad’s house as soon as he reached Delhi after refusing to leave the party in Shimla, has increased the problems of the Congress leaders of the state. Many political meanings are being taken out of this meeting held before the Congress Working Committee meeting on Sunday. The speculation of Anand Sharma joining the BJP has also intensified. Anand Sharma, who visited Shimla on 24 and 25 August, spoke openly about G-23.

He had said that G-23 is sitting in the heart of Congress. For the good of the party, the leaders of G-23 have given their stand from time to time. Ghulam Nabi Azad has been a prominent leader of G-23. On Friday, Ghulam Nabi Azad left the primary member of Congress. Anand Sharma had returned to Delhi from Shimla on Friday itself. Many political discussions have started after Anand Sharma reached Ghulam Nabi Azad’s house on Saturday. Anand Sharma’s supporters in Shimla told that Anand has returned after giving him a message of victory in the assembly elections. He has also talked about coming for election campaign. According to supporters, Anand Sharma will not leave the party and go anywhere.

Before entering the election campaign in the state, Congress has started making strategy in New Delhi. On Saturday, Congress’s communication department head Jairam Ramesh, state in-charge Rajiv Shukla and former state president Kuldeep Singh Rathore held a meeting in this regard. During this, the issues being raised in the media against the BJP were discussed in detail.

In a meeting held at the All India Congress Committee office in Delhi, party’s national spokesperson and former state president Kuldeep Singh Rathore apprised him of the state’s issues. Information about the work done during the previous Congress government was given. It was told about the brakes imposed on the work of the government before the BJP came to power. Information about national and local issues was also given in the meeting. It is noteworthy that the Congress has constituted the Department of Communications to decide the election issues.
