West Indies cricketer Andre Russell has expressed his gratefulness towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi foor the sending vaccine doses against coronavirus to his country Jamaica.
In a video message posted on Twitter, the popular cricketer said, ” I just want to say a big, big, big thank you to Prime Minister Modi and the India High Commission. The vaccines are here and we are excited. I would love to see the world going back to normal. Jamaica people really appreciate it and just to show that we are more than close, India and Jamaica are now brothers. I appreciate it and stay safer over there. Peace.”
Earlier this month, India had supplied 50,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines to Jamaica. India has emerged as a key supplier of coronavirus vaccines to many countries across the world. The country had shipped more than 58 million vaccine doses to more than 70 countries.
