Ashok Leyland: One of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, Ashok Leyland has launched the 1922 4X2 CNG truck in India. According to the business, the haulage truck has the best fluid efficiency, power, and range (single fill) in its class. It will be available in four distinct loading span configurations. The truck can drive over 1150 kilometres on a single tank and is powered by the proven 220-horsepower H6 CNG engine, which is perfect for long hauling applications.
The new truck, which comes with a variety of CNG cylinder options (570 litres, 750 litres, 780 litres, 840 litres, 1080 litres, and 1,200 litres), according to Ashok Leyland, has an industry-best single-fill range of 1,150 kilometres.
In addition to fuel efficiency and range, the OEM claims that the newly introduced 1922 CNG truck has the longest tyre life, longer service intervals, and lower overall maintenance costs. A shorter turnaround time (TAT) as a result of all of these improved qualities translates into increased profitability for fleet owners.
