The new season of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19 premiered on August 24, bringing drama, fun, and celebrity clashes to the screen. Among the contestants is music composer Amaal Mallik, who has recently been in the news for family disputes, personal struggles, and taking a step back from certain relationships. Armaan Malik Reacts To Amaal’s Bigg Boss 19 Entry
Amaal’s entry drew attention not just for his fame but also because of family dynamics. His brother (singer Armaan Malik) shared his reaction in a tweet reply to a fan. Armaan wrote, “Obviously was never for it, but ab Amaal bhai sahab ko kaun samjhaye. Anyway, boarding school samajhke kuch masti karke aajaye wapas. Bahut gaane pending hai.”
When asked if he would watch the show, Armaan added, “Just to see what masti Amaal’s upto.”
Why Amaal Mallik Joined BB 19
Before entering the house, Amaal had told Bollywood Bubble that he wanted to reconnect with fans and establish his own identity. He recalled losing a few big projects and taking breaks and said, “Mujhe jab-jab meri koi film se nikala gaya ya mujhe laga ki yeh mera vibe nahi hai, toh main khud break le leta hoon. Mujhe 2–3 bade projects se nikala bhi gaya hai. Lekin main is baat ko zyada seriously nahi leta. Kyunki mere liye sabse important hai ki log mere music ko apne dil aur playlist mein jagah dete hain. Logo ko yeh pata hona chahiye ki kaun music bana raha hai—this is Amaal Mallik, not Armaan Malik, not Aditya Roy Kapur.”
Months ago, he had also posted on social media that he was cutting ties with his family, though the post was later deleted. During the premiere, he revealed that he had been dealing with depression.
Even in the first week, Amaal has stirred discussions inside the house. He criticised co-contestant Gaurav Khanna, calling the Anupamaa actor loud and accusing him of using attention-seeking words due to his TV fame.
