Stellar Growth in Profit and Revenue
Adani Energy Solutions Q3 Results highlighted an impressive PAT growth of 80%, reaching ₹625 crore compared to ₹348 crore in the same period last year. Adjusted PAT stood at ₹440 crore, up 26% YoY, benefiting from a one-time reversal of ₹185 crore in net deferred tax liabilities.
The company’s total income for the quarter surged 24% to ₹6,000 crore. This growth was fueled by contributions from newly commissioned transmission lines, including MP Package-II, Kharghar-Vikhroli, and Mundra utilities, alongside higher energy sales in Mumbai and Mundra.
Robust EBITDA and Operational Efficiency
EBITDA for Q3 FY25 rose by 6% to ₹1,831 crore, backed by strong revenue growth and steady regulated income in Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML). Operational EBITDA stood at ₹1,579 crore, a 9% increase, while the transmission business maintained an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92%.

New Project Wins and Expanding Network
In Q3, AESL secured two significant transmission projects:
Khavda Phase IV Part-D – Project cost of ₹3,455 crore.
Rajasthan Phase III Part-I (Bhadla-Fatehpur HVDC) – Preliminary cost of ₹25,000 crore.
These projects add 3,044 circuit kilometers (ckm) to the under-construction network, increasing the total project pipeline to ₹54,761 crore by the end of Q3 FY25, compared to ₹17,000 crore at the year’s start.
The Mumbai distribution business also saw a 3% rise in energy consumption, low distribution losses at 4.66%, and a growing consumer base of 3.17 million, supported by reliable and affordable power supply.
