Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani are reportedly overjoyed as their younger son, Anant Ambani, is set to marry his longtime partner, Radhika Merchant. While the Ambani family has not officially confirmed the news, an invitation card for the couple's pre-wedding festivities has surfaced online, revealing that the celebrations will commence in the first week of March 2024.

Engagement Rituals

The engagement festivities for Anant and Radhika kicked off with traditional Gujarati customs, including Chunari Vidhi and Gol Dhana, followed by a ring exchange ceremony. The Ambani family hosted engagement parties at their opulent residence, Antilia, extending a warm welcome to the Merchant family and soon-to-be Ambani daughter-in-law, Radhika. The celebrations also included a Ganesh puja, seeking blessings from Lord Krishna for the couple.

Educational Background and Career

Anant Ambani, the younger scion of the Ambani family, is a graduate of Brown University in the United States. He has held various roles at Reliance Industries, including serving on the boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures. Currently, he leads the energy business of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). Radhika Merchant, the bride-to-be, is the daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant, and a New York University alumna. She presently serves as a director on the board of Encore Healthcare.
