Gold Rate Today: Gold Becomes Expensive By Up To Rs.210, Silver Prices Decrease

Gold Rate Today: Once more, the holiday season is set to begin. For those wishing to purchase gold and silver before Navratri, there is significant news. Following a few days of persistent price declines for gold, the price of gold is once more seen rising today. Silver’s declining tendency, however, is still present today.

Today, the price of gold has increased by Rs 210, while the price of silver has decreased by Rs 36. Silver currently costs roughly Rs. 56318 per ounce, while gold costs around Rs. 49578. Along with this, the price of gold is decreasing by Rs 6600 every 10 grams, while the price of silver is decreasing from an all-time high to roughly Rs 23600 per kg.

Status of Gold and Silver on IBJA

According to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) website, gold increased in price by Rs 210 per ten grams on Wednesday (21 September), the third trading day of current trading week, and opened at Rs 49578 per ten grams. In contrast, gold increased in price by Rs 48 per ten grams on Tuesday’s final trading day, closing at Rs 49368 per gramme.
On the other hand, today’s silver (Silver Price Update) opened at Rs 56318 and decreased by Rs 36 per kg. whereas silver prices were unchanged on Tuesday’s final trading day. Silver reached a Tuesday closing price of Rs 56354 per kilogram.

Rates for gold and silver on MCX

Gold is currently trading with a strong trend on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), similar to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). The price of gold on the MCX today is Rs 49,476, up by Rs 301. While silver has increased by Rs 619 in price to Rs 56,962.


From all-time highs, gold 6600 and silver 23600 are becoming less expensive.


Following this decline, gold is now selling for Rs 6622 less per 10 grams than it did at its all-time high. August 2020 became the highest point in gold’s history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs 56,200 for 10 kilos.

Silver was also declining in price at a rate of roughly Rs 23662 per kilogram from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogram. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favourable time to do so.

Price of 14 to 24 carat gold

Accordingly, the most recent price for gold today is Rs 49578 per 10 grams for 24 carat, Rs 49380 for 23 carat, Rs 45413 for 22 carat, Rs 37183 for 18 carat, and approx. Rs 49578 for 14 carat. It is currently retailing at Rs 29003 for every 10 grams.

Conditions for gold and silver on the global market


Similar to the Indian bullion market, gold is currently trading quickly on the global market as well. The price of gold is rising quickly on the global market. At $ 1,675.00 per ounce, gold is currently trading with a gain of $8.64 on the US market. Silver, on the other hand, is currently trading at $ 19.43 per ounce with a gain of $0.14.
