Gold Rate Today: Ahead of Karva Chauth, Dhanteras, and Diwali, gold and silver are likewise in a happy mood. Today, the price of gold and silver has dramatically decreased after the yellow metal's price has been rising steadily for the past few days.
Today, the price of gold has decreased by Rs. 448, while the price of silver has decreased by Rs. 2074. Following this decline, gold is currently being sold for Rs. 51317 and silver, Rs. 58774. Silver, meanwhile, has decreased in price from its peak by roughly Rs. 21,000 per kg and gold by about Rs 4800 per 10 grams, respectively.
Statuses of Gold and Silver on IBJA
The Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) reports that gold (Gold Price Update) decreased by Rs. 448 per ten grams on Monday, October 10, the fifth and final trading day of this trading week, to a level of Rs. 51317 per ten grams open. In contrast, gold lost Rs. 73 in value per ten grams on Friday's final trading day, closing at Rs. 51765.
In contrast, silver (Silver Price Update) decreased in price today from Rs. 58774 per kg to Rs. 2074 per kg. On the other hand, silver's price increased by 178 rupees on Friday's final trading day, closing at Rs. 60848 per kg.
Silver and Gold Prices on the MCX
Today, gold is trading with a further fall on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), according to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). Gold has decreased in price by Rs. 519 today on the MCX, reaching a level of Rs. 51,441. While silver is currently trading at a price of Rs. 59,410 with a Rs. 1375 decline.
Silver with 21000 rupees and gold with 4800 rupees are declining in price from all-time highs.
Compared to its all-time high, gold is currently selling for Rs. 4883 per 10 grams less. August 2020 became the highest point in gold's history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs 56,200 for 10 kilos. Silver was also declining in price at a rate of roughly Rs. 21206 per kilogram from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogram. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favorable time to do so.
Price of 14 to 24 carat gold
As a result, the current price for 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs. 51317, for 10 grams of 23 carat gold it is Rs. 51112, for 10 grams of 22 carat gold it is Rs. 47006, for 10 pounds of 18 carat gold it is Rs. 38488, and for 10 kilos of 14 carat gold it is about Rs. 38488. It is being traded at Rs. 30020 for every 10 grams.

Gold and silver are currently trading with a decline on the worldwide market, similar to the Indian bullion market. Gold is currently selling for $1,686.30 per ounce in the US, down $10.61. On the other side, silver is currently trading at $ 19.76 per ounce, down $ 0.37.
