Gold Rate Update on MCX
Gold can be invested in a variety of ways, such as jewellery, mining firms, mutual funds, futures, and bullion (i.e., gold bars). With rare exceptions, the only ways to directly invest in gold are through bullion, futures, and a select few specialty funds. Following a minor decline of 0.20 percent, gold futures with a December 5, 2023, maturity date were trading at Rs 59630 per 10 grammes on the MCX. Conversely, maturing silver futures showed a 0.93% gain on December 5, 2023, and were trading on the MCX at Rs 69380 a kilogramme.
