Petrol And Diesel Price Update [06 October, 2023]: With a few adjustments, Indian oil companies kept the price of petrol and diesel same on Friday, nearly constant throughout all major cities. However, because of value-added tax (VAT), freight costs, local taxes, etc., these differ from state to state.
Fuel rate in metropolitan cities:
The price of petrol in New Delhi was Rs 96.72 and diesel 89.62, in Mumbai the price of petrol was Rs 106.31 and diesel 94.27, in Kolkata the price of petrol was Rs 106.03 and diesel 92.76 and in Chennai the price of petrol was Rs 102.74 and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.

If you want to check the new rates of petrol and diesel in your city, you can know through SMS. HPCL customers send message HPPRICE to 9222201122. Indian Oil customers should SMS RSP to number 9224992249. BPCL customers can update the new price by messaging the number 9223112222.
