Petrol And Diesel Price Update [August 2, 2023]: Government oil companies have released the price of petrol and diesel. The price varies according to states and cities. On Wednesday, the prices of petrol and diesel have been released according to different cities. There has been an increase in the prices at many places, while at some places the prices have also decreased. At the same time, increase in the price of crude oil price is being recorded in the international market.

Today, there has been a huge increase of 1.05 per cent in the price of Brent Crude Oil and it is trading around $85.80 per barrel. At the same time, an increase of 1.03 percent is being recorded in the price of WTI Crude Oil and it is trading at $ 82.21 per barrel.

Price of petrol and diesel in the four metro cities:

New Delhi - Petrol Rs 96.72 a litre, Diesel Rs 89.62 a liter

Mumbai- Petrol Rs 106.31, diesel Rs 94.27 a liter

Chennai- Petrol Rs 102.73, diesel Rs 94.33 a liter

Kolkata- Petrol Rs 106.03, diesel Rs 92.76 per liter

Cities where fuel prices changed:

Jaipur – Petrol is being sold 32 paise cheaper at Rs 108.16, diesel 29 paise cheaper at Rs 93.43 a litre.

Ajmer - Petrol is being sold 48 paise costlier at Rs 108.68, diesel is being sold 43 paise costlier at Rs 93.90 a litre.

Lucknow- Petrol is being sold 15 paise cheaper at Rs 96.42, diesel 14 paise cheaper at Rs 89.62 a litre.

Noida - Petrol is being sold 11 paise cheaper at Rs 96.65, diesel 11 paise cheaper at Rs 89.82 a litre.

Gurugram - Petrol is being sold 38 paise costlier at Rs 97.04, diesel by 37 paise at Rs 89.91 a litre.
