Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged on December 7 except for Delhi where it became cheaper since last week.
On Wednesday, Delhi government had cut the price of petrol in Delhi by Rs 8.56 while there was no change in the price of diesel. Petrol prices are running above Rs 100 in many states of the country. The prices of petrol and diesel in the country are still affecting the income of the common man.
The Centre had on the eve of Diwali, announced excise duty cut on fuels resulting in a sharp decrease in petrol and diesel prices across the country.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states are due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.
How to check petrol and diesel price in your city:
Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
