Times Group’s Split Formalised! Samir Jain to Reign Over Print, Vineet Jain Takes Broadcast and Entertainment

Times Group: The year-long conflict between Samir Jain and Vineet Jain, brothers from the Sahu Jain family, has come to an end after they reached a partition deal. High-ranking sources claim that the separation was completed yesterday night. According to sources, Samir Jain would acquire control of the print company as well as any digital assets related to the print company.

Vineet Jain to Consolidate Ownership of Media Empire

Vineet Jain will be the owner of the broadcast, radio, and entertainment companies as well as any related digital assets. According to Business Standard, BCCL recently disclosed that it had merged with numerous of its subsidiaries. A senior Times Group official was contacted by MediaNews4U for confirmation. When and if a response is received, this story will be updated. Harsh Goenka, an industrialist, tweeted to confirm the separation. He Wrote, “I am delighted that the Times of India group issue is finally settled. Samir Jain lords over the print business and Vineet gets the digital, TV and entertainment business. All’s well that ends well!”
