Top 5 stocks of the day: From Adani Enterprises to Bajaj Finance and UPL, here are the top gainers today

Top 5 stocks of the day: Adani Enterprises, Divis Laboratories, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finserv, and UPL were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while Apollo Hospitals, Tech Mahindra, Grasim Industries, HCL Technologies, and Titan Company were among the losers. On a sectoral level, the metal index increased by 2.6%, the power index increased by 1%, and purchases were also made in the oil & gas, auto, FMCG, and healthcare industries. In the names of capital goods, information technology, and real estate, there was some selling.

Sensex and NSE Nifty50

In the erratic session on May 23, benchmark indices closed flat. The Nifty was up 33.60 points or 0.18 percent at 18,348.00 at closure, and the Sensex was up 18.11 points or 0.03 percent at 61,981.79 at the time. 110 shares remained unchanged, 1,716 shares fell, and 1,686 shares climbed.

Top 5 stocks of the day: Gland Pharma Shares Rebound 10%

Following large losses in each of the previous two days, Gland Pharma shares had a noteworthy comeback of 10% on Tuesday. The company’s share price rose when it disclosed its board’s intention to meet privately and face-to-face with billionaire venture capitalist Azim Premji’s Premji Invest.

The stock increased throughout the day by 9.56 percent, hitting a high of Rs 979 on the BSE. This upward trend came after a dramatic drop of 16.56 percent on Monday, which ended at Rs 893.50. It’s important to remember that shares of Gland Pharma fell by 20% on Friday as well.
