Top 5 stocks of the day: The Nifty’s top gainers included Bajaj Auto, Adani Enterprises, Bharti Airtel, ITC, and Divis Laboratories, while losers included Wipro, Tata Motors, UPL, Sun Pharma, and HDFC. All sectoral indexes, with the exception of metal and PSU Bank, finished in the green, with the Realty index up 1% and the Auto, Capital Goods, FMCG, and Power indices each up 0.5 %. The midcap and smallcap indices on the BSE finished higher.

The benchmark indices for India closed higher on May 25 despite the session being extremely turbulent. The Nifty was up 35.80 points or 0.20 percent at 18,321.20 at closure, and the Sensex was up 98.84 points or 0.16 percent at 61,872.62. A total of 112 shares were unchanged, 1,830 shares decreased, and 1,573 shares increased.

Top 5 stocks of the day: Borosil Renewables Q4 profit tanks 85.5%

For the March FY23 quarter, Borosil Renewables reported a staggering 85.5 percent year-over-year fall in consolidated profit at Rs 10.1 crore while operating revenue plummeted by 65.4 percent to Rs 309 crore. Poor operating results also had an effect on the bottom line. The business intends to raise up to Rs 1,100 crore through bonds or securities.
