Sensex and NSE Nifty50
The Nifty was up 47.50 points or 0.24 percent at 19,444 at the time of closing, and the Sensex was up 213.27 points or 0.33 percent at 65,433.30. Approximately 2016 shares rose, 1487 shares fell, and 156 shares were constant. On August 23, benchmark indexes finished higher, with Nifty at 19,450, driven by equities in the metal, bank, capital goods, and real estate sectors.

Motherson Sumi Wiring gains 0.8% after huge block deal
After a significant block transaction, Motherson Sumi Wiring India’s shares increased by 0.8 percent. According to Bloomberg, 9.64 million shares of the corporation, or around 0.2 percent, were traded in three groups. The purchasers’ and sellers’ identities, however, remained unknown.
