Top 5 stocks of the day: Paytm stock gains 1.8 percent post block deal
One97 Communications Ltd, the company that operates Paytm, had around 20.46 lakh shares, or 0.34 percent of the company, exchange hands at an average price of Rs 657 per share, according to a report from CNBC-TV18. A total of Rs133.92 crore was spent on the transaction. The stock is currently up 1.8 percent on the BSE, trading for Rs 657.30 per share.
Neogen Chemicals up 7% on reports of tech partnership with Japanese major
After indications that the company was poised to announce a technology transfer arrangement with a significant Japanese conglomerate, shares of Neogen Chemicals increased by almost 7% on April 10. According to rumours, the corporation has set a press conference for 3:30 pm where it plans to announce the agreement. According to a report by ET-NOW, the agreement will be for the production of lithium electrodes under the government’s product-linked incentive (PLI) programme. At its news conference, the corporation is also anticipated to disclose specific instructions for the production of lithium-ion battery electrolytes.
