Twitter’s much-anticipated Blue Tick arrives in India, will cost THIS much

For users in India, Twitter has launched its premium membership service, Twitter Blue. The paid subscription allows users early access to innovations that the microblogging platform introduces, as well as the desired blue checkmark that is added next to their profile names.

Twitter rolls out Twitter Blue for users in India

Both iOS and Android smartphones, as well as Twitter’s website, now support the purchase of Twitter Blue. Users of iOS and Android in India must pay a monthly subscription cost of 900 rupees, while web users just pay a fee of 650 rupees.

Users can also pay an additional annual charge of Rs 6,800 ($5,66 per month) to subscribe to the premium service. However, this strategy is only accessible online.

Twitter Blue is available in the US for $8 on the web and $11 per month on Android and iOS devices. In the US, the annual plan costs $84.

Twitter Blue service can be bought by anyone who pays the subscription fee

The blue tick was previously used to identify genuine accounts of well-known actors, politicians, journalists, and public figures before the firm launched its Twitter Blue service. As of right now, anyone who pays the subscription cost can purchase the checkmark.

In addition to the blue tick, early access to features like edit tweet, bookmark folders, custom app icons, and NFT profile images is available to Twitter Blue members. These users will also have the option to select multiple colour schemes for their app, give tweet replies priority, and delete a tweet before it is seen by other users.

While other users’ character limits are 280, Twitter Blue subscribers have a larger character limit of 4,000. Users can submit lengthier films up to 60 minutes long or up to 2 GB in size with the paid subscription as well.

Twitter’s premium service has now been made available in a number of nations. These nations include, among others, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and France. According to the microblogging network, a waiting period can be imposed without prior notice and new users wouldn’t be able to subscribe to Twitter Blue for 90 days.
