UPITS 2025: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS-2025) at the India Expo Mart auditorium in Greater Noida, in the presence of senior police and administrative officials.

The trade show, scheduled to take place from September 25 to 29, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event is expected to serve as a global showcase for Uttar Pradesh’s traditions, skills, and products, while also reinforcing national campaigns such as Vocal for Local and Make in India.

One District, One Product Push

The Chief Minister directed that every district of the state must actively participate in the trade show through dedicated One District, One Product (ODOP) stalls. These stalls will highlight the unique handicrafts, food items, and industrial products of each district before international buyers and investors. Yogi Adityanath stressed that this approach would not only boost exports but also generate employment opportunities at the grassroots level.

Branding and Promotion Across the State

Yogi Adityanath further instructed officials to ensure wide branding and promotion of UPITS-2025 across districts and educational institutions. Colleges, universities, and schools will put up posters, digital displays, and event information to raise awareness among students, faculty, and local communities. The move aims to inspire youth participation in entrepreneurship and innovation while spreading knowledge about the state’s growing industrial ecosystem.

Student Involvement for Hands-On Experience

The CM placed particular emphasis on the involvement of Gautam Buddha University students. Their active participation, he noted, would provide hands-on exposure to large-scale event management while opening doors to future employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Ensuring Security and Seamless Arrangements

During the review meeting, the Chief Minister also directed police and administrative officials to prioritise security, convenience, and overall smooth arrangements for both participants and visitors. The aim, he said, is to ensure that the event stands as a model for global trade fairs in terms of efficiency and hospitality.

With international buyers, investors, and entrepreneurs expected to attend, UPITS-2025 is poised to become a major platform for showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s economic potential and cultural richness to the world.
