UPITS 2025: Greater Noida witnessed a major boost to India’s investment landscape as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) on September 25, 2025.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh has rapidly attracted investments and created new avenues of employment, especially through MSME units, which have generated nearly 2 crore jobs in recent years. He emphasized that the state is now positioning itself as India’s new growth engine, drawing interest from both national and international investors.

The five-day trade show is showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s industrial strength, agricultural innovations, handicrafts, and MSME potential. Delegates from multiple countries, top corporates, and business associations are participating to explore opportunities in sectors ranging from manufacturing and IT to textiles, food processing, and green energy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Uttar Pradesh’s transformation under the “double-engine government,” highlighting how the state has emerged as a preferred destination for investors. He said that mega events like UPITS 2025 not only strengthen Make in India but also create global partnerships that open new doors for local entrepreneurs.
CM Yogi added that the state’s focus on infrastructure, expressways, airports, logistics parks, and skill development has given a strong push to the economy. The trade show is expected to witness several investment MoUs that will further boost industrialization and job creation.
Business leaders expressed optimism about the state’s pro-industry policies, ease of doing business, and stable governance, with many announcing plans to scale up operations in Uttar Pradesh.
