Cong Demands MP CM Resignation, alleging Ration Scam Under CM’s Watch

In Madhya Pradesh the case of alleged scam in ‘Take Home Ration’ of beneficiaries under the Nutrition Diet Scheme has taken a political color. Today the Congress held a press conference in all the divisions of the state and demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

On the other hand, the government has said that this is only a draft report, when the time comes, the Women and Child Development Department will answer it.

Madhya Pradesh Congress has demanded the resignation of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan over the alleged take home ration distribution scam on the basis of a confidential report of the Accountant General of Madhya Pradesh. Congress has said that this is a scam of at least Rs 2,000 crore.

The Congress has demanded an inquiry into the matter by a High Court judge or an independent agency. The Congress has said that but if the Chief Minister continues in his post, then no investigation will be possible.

However, the government has denied all the allegations. In a special conversation with NDTV, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said – it was only a draft report of the Auditor General. Women and Child Development Department will give timely reply on this matter. The draft report is not the final report.
