God sleeps on Devashayani Ekadashi
Now, from 20th July to 13th November, there will be no auspicious work. At this time, the sun decreases the brightness of the moon and nature. If you do anything when good powers are low, the result is not good. The tasks are hampered and the made-up is less spoiled.

Chartumas also begin with Devasyani
No good work is done in this. In the meantime, Lord Vishnu entrusts all his responsibilities to Lord Shiva and sleeps himself. Four months later, Devotthan Ekadashi wakes up from Lord Vishnu’s sleeping sleep on the Shukla paksha of Kartik Mas on 13th November and from then on auspicious works begin.
How to worship god on Devashayani Ekadashi?
Worship Lord Vishnu at night. Offer them yellow items, especially yellow clothes. Chant mantras and then perform aarti. After performing aarti, pray with folded hands and request Lord Vishnu to have compassion.
Chant this mantra
‘सुप्ते त्वयि जगन्नाथ जमत्सुप्तं भवेदिदम्।
विबुद्धे त्वयि बुद्धं च जगत्सर्व चराचरम्।।

Puja muhurat on Devashayani Ekadashi
Devasyani Ekadashi will start from 09:59 pm on Monday, July 19 and will continue till 07:17 pm on July 20. But due to Udaya being the date of rise, fast will be observed on Tuesday, 20th July.
