Before the Gujarat assembly elections, the Congress party has suffered a major setback. Hardik Patel has resigned from the Congress party.
Hartik Patel gave information about the resignation on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “Today I courageously resign from the post of Congress Party and primary membership of the party. I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat. I believe that after this step of mine, I will be able to work really positively for Gujarat in future.”
Hardik Patel submitted his resignation letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. He wrote in the letter that even after many efforts, I am resigning from the party because of the work done completely opposite to the interest of the country and society by the Congress party.
He further wrote, ‘The youth of the country want a capable and strong leadership, but the Congress party has been limited to the politics of protest only.’
In his resignation letter, Hardik wrote that whether it is the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the issue of CAA-NRC, Article 370 in Kashmir or the decision to implement GST, the country wanted a solution to these problems for a long time and the Congress party only acted as a hindrance.
He alleged that the party’s top leadership lacked seriousness. Whenever I met the top leadership of the party, it seemed that their attention was more on their mobile and other things than the people of Gujarat. Our leaders were abroad when there was a crisis in the country.
After the resignation of Hardik Patel, the statement of Gujarat Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil has come to the fore. Taking a jibe at Hardik, he said, if you talk about the leadership of the party, you were sharing a stage with Rahul Gandhi a few days ago. Who stopped you from meeting him? We have internal democracy. There is a thin line between internal democracy and indiscipline. BJP does not have internal democracy. He said, whoever has left the Congress, whatever has been written in his resignation, is written by the BJP.
