Health Tips: Incorporate these seasonal fruits in your diet this monsoon

Viral infection, malaria and other seasonal diseases are common health issues during monsoon. Due to the humidity present in the air, the chances of having digestive problems also increase. Consuming fruits in the rainy season is considered very beneficial. Eating seasonal fruits gives a boost to immunity along with strength. Health experts recommend eating fruits in the monsoon season, but keep in mind that they should be fresh and well washed. More bacteria are found in unwashed and stale fruits which can cause diseases.

In the rainy season, only seasonal fruits should be eaten, which contributes to boosting immunity. Read on to know about some seasonal monsoon fruits that strengthen the immune system.

Pomegranate 

Pomegranate is rich in nutrition. Along with boosting immunity, pomegranate rich in antioxidants and vitamin B increases the production of red blood cells and also keeps blood circulation right.

Litchi

Fiber is found in abundance in litchi, which benefits from problems like acidity and indigestion. Apart from boosting immunity, Vitamin C protects against common cold and is also beneficial in problems like acne and spots.

Pears 

Pears are an excellent source of Vitamin C which makes them the best seasonal fruit for the monsoon season. The stronger the immunity, the more your body will be protected from diseases and allergies.

Apples 

Eating apples in any season only benefits the body. Many nutrients are found in apples such as vitamins A, B1, B2 and C and phosphorus, iodine, calcium, and iron which give benefits in every health issue.

Jamun

There are a lot of problems with digestion in the monsoon, to avoid this, do consume jamun. Vitamins, potassium, folate, and iron found in jamun provide relief from gastric problems.
