Health Tips: Green coloured Broccoli comes under the brassica family along with cauliflower, cabbage and kale. You can eat it raw or cooked. This vegetable has innumerable elements that make it perfect to include in the diet. Many nutrients are found in broccoli such as fat, protein, carbohydrate, fiber, vitamin C, carotene etc. All these nutritional properties provide all the necessary elements to your body, which keeps it healthy. A study has shown that eating boiled broccoli daily reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Broccoli burns the body’s cholesterol and lowers the chances of heart disease.
