About 500 new cases of corona in last 24 hours registered in Mumbai

Mumbai Coronavirus Update: Amidst the threat of new variant Omicron of corona virus, cases of infection are being registered in Mumbai. In the last 24 hours, 490 new cases of infection have been reported in the financial capital of the country. This is the first time after 15 October that such a number of new patients have been found. On October 15, 488 patients had appeared. However, it was a matter of relief that in the last 24 hours, no patient died due to this virus. During this 45014 tests were done. The number of active patients in the city has now increased to 2419.

At the same time, 1201 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra in 24 hours. This is the highest number of cases since November 3, before that on November 3, 1193 cases were reported. 8 new Covid patient has also died. It is a matter of relief that today no new case of Omicron variant has been reported from the state. During this, a total of 65 Omicron patients were reported, out of which 35 were discharged after RT-PCR test after coming negative.

There have been 213 cases of corona variant Omicron in the country. Out of this, 90 people have gone home from the hospital after recovering completely. 123 cases are active now. More than half the infection cases have been registered in Delhi and Maharashtra. Apart from 57 Omicron cases in Delhi, 54 have been reported in Maharashtra, 24 in Telangana, 19 in Karnataka, 18 in Rajasthan, 15 in Kerala, 14 in Gujarat, three in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from these, two cases each have been reported in Odisha and Uttar Pradesh, one each in Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh, Ladakh, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
