Terrorists are not deterring from their antics in Jammu and Kashmir. On Wednesday, terrorists shot a person in Idgah area of Srinagar city. The injured youth was admitted to a nearby hospital, where he died. Also, security arrangements have been tightened in the area. Every visitor is being monitored. At the same time, in Anantnag also, the terrorists opened fire on ASI Mohammad Ashraf, who died in the hospital and was martyred.
Kashmir Zone Police has told that terrorists have shot 1 civilian in Srinagar. At the same time, ASI has been shot in Bijbehara area of Anantnag. He is ASI Mohammad Ashraf of Bijbehara police station. Terrorists fired on a youth named Rauf Ahmed in Idgah PS Safakadal. The injured was taken to SMHS hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

On the previous day too, there was a gunfight between the terrorists in a vehicle and the security forces stationed at a check post in Soura area of Srinagar. According to officials, there was no casualty in the firing incident. The incident took place at around 6.45 pm when a team of security forces asked a car to stop near the check post in Soura area. The driver did not stop the vehicle ignoring the signal of the security forces and the terrorists fired from it. The security forces also retaliated to the firing of the terrorists.
Security forces on Monday arrested two associates of members of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed from Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. The arrested persons have been identified as Umar Ramzan and Javed Ahmed Malla, he said. Suspicious material including ammunition was recovered from them. Initial investigation revealed that the arrested associates of terrorists were in touch with Jaish-e-Mohammed commander and used to deliver arms and ammunition.
