Addressing the gathering, the AAP legislator highlighted that the Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana provides cashless medical treatment of up to ₹10 lakh per family, making quality healthcare accessible without financial burden. He said the initiative reflects the Mann government’s commitment to ending inequality in healthcare access and protecting families from catastrophic medical expenses.
Under the scheme, beneficiaries can avail treatment at both government and empanelled private hospitals, ensuring wider reach and flexibility for patients across Punjab. The programme covers major medical procedures, hospitalisation costs and advanced treatments, offering relief especially to middle-class and low-income households.
