Govt draws out Covid vaccine delivery management plan

A big announcement has been made by the Union Health Ministry. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the emergency use of the Corona vaccine was approved the day it arrived. There is complete preparation to start the corona vaccination within 10 days. Remember, the Drug Controller General of India approved the emergency use of the Corona vaccine in the country on 3 January i.e. last Sunday. On this basis, the program of introduction of Corona vaccine in the country can begin.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that there are 4 primary corona vaccine stores in the country. It was reported that these stores have been set up in Mumbai, Chennai, Karnal and Kolkata. At the same time, 37 Corona Vaccine Centers have been set up. Corona vaccine will be stored at these places. From here, the corona vaccine will be sent to the district level across the country. From here, the corona vaccine will be sent to the Primary Health Center in freezer boxes. Corona vaccine will be administered to the people.

Rajesh Bhushan said that 44% of active cases with moderate or severe symptoms that require regular care are in the hospital. 56% of cases are mild or asymptomatic and are in home isolation.

The Ministry of Health has created an app named Co-WIN App to monitor the distribution of Covid-19 vaccine, keep the data and get people registered to get the vaccine. Citizens of the country who are not health workers will have to download the CoWIN app for cocaine from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After downloading the app, people will be able to register for the corona vaccine through the registration module.
