Engine details

A new 125cc fuel-injected motor is added to the Hero Glamour BS6. It produces 0.69PS and 0.4Nm less power and torque than the BS4 fuel-injected Glamour, 11PS at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm, respectively. The new motor also has a crawl feature that increases rpm at crawling speeds to prevent the motor from stalling. Additionally, it now features i3S start-stop functionality. The BS6 Glamour receives a new 5-speed gearbox, as opposed to the BS4 Glamour’s 4-speed unit.

Hero Super Splendor Xtec has a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine with a maximum output of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 RPM and 10.7 horsepower at 7,500 RPM. This engine also comes in a standard version. A 5-speed gearbox is connected to the engine. The company claims that this bike will achieve 68 km/l in mileage.

Features

The Glamour Xtec has a tonne of industry-first features like an integrated USB charging port, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps connectivity, a gear position indicator, a bank angle sensor that turns off the engine during a fall, and a side-stand engine cut-off, while the standard Glamour only has CBS, i3S start-stop system, real-time mileage indicator, and Auto Sail Technology (basically crawl assist). Also included is an LED headlight, which the basic variant is missing.

Hero Super Splendor Xtec now boasts Bluetooth connectivity as well as call and SMS alerts. In addition to this, it has features such as a fully digital speedometer, low fuel alert, service reminder, and malfunction indication. Hero Glamour’s price ranges from Rs. 79,368 to Rs. 85,238, depending on the model. Hero Glamour is available in 6 variations.
