Honda Activa Smart to launch in India on 23rd January, all we expect from this game changing futuristic scooter

Honda Activa Smart: On January 23, 2023, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India will introduce a brand-new two-wheeler. The Activa Smart, as it has been dubbed, is perhaps Honda's newest offering for the Indian market.

All we expect from Honda Activa Smart

The next Honda Activa Smart, which will include a new anti-theft system, is anticipated to be the top-of-the-line Activa 6G model. The Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), which we get to see on Honda's high-end BigWing motorcycles, should be a more affordable version of the system.

Along with the additional anti-theft security features, Honda may also supply the Activa Smart with a digital instrument panel and Bluetooth connectivity, just like its rivals. Mechanically speaking, the 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI engine will be the same in all Activa 6G variations, but it will now produce 7.73 horsepower as opposed to 7.68 bhp.

Price in India and rivals

Current prices for the Honda Activa 6G range from Rs 73,359 to Rs 75,859, ex-showroom. The next Activa "Smart" variant should cost less than Rs 80,000, ex-showroom, and is expected to demand a surcharge of about Rs 3,000. It will compete with vehicles like the Hero Maestro Edge, TVS Jupiter, and others.
