Honda Foldable Scooter: Imagine carrying your scooter on the trip in a suitcase, it might look like imagination to you, but Honda has done something unconventional by introducing a new foldable scooter which is called Motocompacto. The new scooter is said to be Honda’s tribute to one of the previous models. Check out more details about the vehicle below.
Honda Motocompacto Design
Honda’s new foldable scooter Motocompacto’s design is inspired by the previously launched Motocompo foldable scooter in 1980s. The company itself said that “Uniquely foldable, Motocompacto quickly transforms into its own compact, light, and stackable carrying case that’s easy to take along in a vehicle, on public transportation, or store in tight places.”
Motocompacto weighs just 19 Kgs which makes it easy to carry with hands. The company finds this scooter suitable for campus cruising, city travel and recreational fun. Motocompacto measures 742mm in length and 94mm in width in a folded form. The scooter spreads to 968mm in length in riding mode. The foldable electric scooter comes with a wheelbase of 742mm which stays uniform.
Honda Motocompacto Performance
According to the company claims, its new foldable scooter is three times faster than the average walking speed of an individual. Motocompacto can run at a top speed of 24 kmph. The mini electric scooter is capable of carrying a weight of 120 kgs which is more than the weight of an average person.
Honda MotoCompacto Power and Battery
Motocompacto electric scooter comes with a front wheel motor which supplies it the maximum power of 0.6 hp and a peak torque of 16 Nm. The mini electric scooter is equipped with a 6.8 Ah battery pack which provides the maximum driving range of 20 Kms in a solitary charge. Motocompacto also comes with a water resistance feature. The scooter gets fully juiced up in a time duration of three and half hours using a standard 110V charging socket.
