After receiving the inputs against the businessman, the Income Tax Department team was alerted and carried out the raid in a filmy style. According to information received from sources, on the morning of August 3, about 100 vehicles of the Income Tax Department entered Jalna. Now the interesting thing here was that all the vehicles of the Income Tax Department had stickers of a marriage ceremony. The stickers on the vehicles had ‘Rahul Weds Anjali’ written on it.

There were more than 400 officers and employees inside these vehicles. Seeing such a large convoy of vehicles, the people of Jalna did not understand anything at first. But seeing the wedding stickers on the vehicles, they felt that these vehicles had come for some wedding ceremony, but the matter of marriage in the month of Sawan was a bit strange.

However, after a while, the whole Jalna came to know that the people who came in hundreds of vehicles are not baraatis but officers of the Income Tax Department and these guests have come not to attend any wedding ceremony but to raid. The officials took all the money confiscated in the raid and reached the nearest State Bank branch, where the counting of cash continued from around 11 am to 1 pm.
