Jammu and Kashmir:  India rejects “incorrect and unwarranted” references to the UT’s by Islamic Nations Group

Jammu and Kashmir: India has officially rejected “factually incorrect and unwarranted references” to the area of Jammu and Kashmir made by a grouping of Islamic nations. Using its Right to Reply at UN Human Rights Council. Accused Pakistan of “peddling malicious propaganda”, India had said about Pakistan that “Islamabad is well-versed to put its own house in order”. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with member states including Pakistan. They had alleged “illegal unilateral action to change the status of Kashmir” in the Rights Council. They also accused India of trying to make demographic changes in Kashmir. Pakistan had also alleged “human rights abuse” and “digital and physical iron curtain”.

Pakistan has an abysmal record – India

India rejects “factually incorrect and unwarranted references to India”. “We regret that OIC countries with whom we have better relationships, have failed in preventing Pakistan for misusing their platform to push anti-india propaganda”. India further said, “Pakistan has an abysmal record on promotion and protection of human rights. It’s shameful that committing genocide in what was East Pakistan and what is now Bangladesh. It’s all in the history.”

Pakistan has made so many attempts to flag Jammu and Kashmir at the international stage since special status of Jammu and Kashmir was ended. They are now two Union Territories. Much of it has been done with OIC which has been giving statements since a long time to slam India.
